Of questionable historical value, the majority of this fragmented correspondence, comprised of notes and letters, was written by constituents with various requests such as (1) dismissal as administrator of an estate, (2) dismissal as administrator of an estate, (3) various requests by attorneys in regard to their client's cases and (4) correspondence relating to pensions.

This series contains a bound volume of a receipts and disbursements journal of the Inferior Court of Walton County. This volume contains in ledger form the amount of money received and paid out by the Inferior Court. Before 1868, the Inferior Court of the various counties had the job of county treasurer The amounts of money shown in this ledger, therefore, are actually monies received and paid out by the county for county purposes. In some cases the two amounts were balanced out.
