This series consists of: (1) divisional policies and procedures (5) studies (2) directives (6) reports (3) speeches (7) general correspondence (4) appointments These files relate to all areas of responsibility the Director of the Division of Transportaticn has in his administration, implementation and coordination of daily activities within the Department of Transit Operations. The Transportation Division is charged with the responsibility of providing public transportation to the citizens of the MARTA service area. The Department of Transit Operations is one of the five primary sections with individual objectives that combine to form the division purpose. The three divisions of Transit Operations are responsible for maintaining an adequate force of bus and train operators and administrative support to operate MARTA'S budgeted bus and rail service.
