Before merging into Planning and Public Affairs, Staff Services dealt with those aspects of MARTA'S operation which, as the name implies, pertain to employment requirements, personnel needs and organization. There are, however, also files that give an overall view of MARTA'S operation since all assistant general managers are routinely given copies of memorandums from the various other departments for general reading purposes.
