Scope and Contents

These published booklets contain summaries of almost all the general bills of Statewide application which were enacted by the General Assembly at each and every session. The act number of each is indicated as is its page citation in the published law books. The analysis (changed to Summary in the titles in 1969) consists of a short summary of the subject of the act and should not be construed as constituting an opinion on the act's constitutionality.

Scope and Contents This series consists of brief synopses of all the local amendments to the Georgia Constitutions of 1877, 1945, and 1976 which were officially proclaimed by the Governor as having been duly ratified. As one of a variety of reference, counseling, and legislative drafting services provided to members of the General Assembly, the Office of the Legislative Counsel compiled these summaries.
