This series consists of the plans adopted by the Georgia General Assembly for drawing the geographic boundaries of each election district. They are related to the decennial reapportionment of state senate and house and U.S. congressional districts. Included are the final legal descriptions, geographic maps and population statistics for each district.

This series consists of records created in establishing the geographical boundaries of each Georgia congressional, house and senate election district after each decennial census. Included are conference committee reports; draft plans; maps; census population statistics; legal descriptions for proposed districts; and other documents used in developing redistricting proposals to submit to the legislature for approval.
