Scope and Contents
This series contains: (1) intradepartmental correspondence and memorandums relating to the coordination of activities within the Department of Education and proposed changes in policies, procedures and projects (2) reports on carrying out Division of Program Development programs and functions (3) correspondence, pamphlets, circular letters and other papers relating to participation in professional associations, coordination of programs with local school systems, projects undertaken by the division and liaison with the U.S. Department of Education, schools within the University System of Georgia, etc. (4) copies of speeches (5) copies of published articles by the division director and other division personnel. As the name implies, the Program Development Division is responsible for the design and development of the state vocational education system including curriculum, staff development, research and distribution of supplies.
