Scope and Contents
This series consists of annual descriptive reports which document the activities of the various state home economic departments under the Division of Vocational Instruction on a secondary and postsecondary level. Included are: (1) applications to the State Board for Vocational Education for state and federal aid (2) correspondence (3) balance sheet showing the various home economic departments reimbursed from federal funds (4) enrollment reports (5) curriculum guides (6) human interest stories (7) bulletins (8) related materials. These files also document the administration of home economic training supplemental to classroom work and the administration of clubs and associations connected with home economics. It is the responsibility of the Division of Vocational Instruction, among other things, to develop policy relating to vocational instruction at the secondary and post secondary level, participating in the vocational development of the State Plan for Vocational Education and supervising vocational student organizations at the state level.
