Scope and Contents
This series consists of a bound volume of accounts, created in the Motive Power Division, which records the costs of repairing and maintaining the Western and Atlantic's locomotives. Each page is devoted to a separate engine with columns for: (1) date of repair, (2) labor performed, (3) amount of labor costs, (4) materials used, and (5) amount of material costs. To be found within this volume is the service pulled on the "General", the "Texas" and other similar, if not as famous, locomotive engines.
