Scope and Contents

This series consists of unbound letters and memorandums from different agencies, other railroads and employees of the Western and Atlantic (other than the Repair Shop and the Maintenance of Power Division) requesting the Car Shop to provide such things as: (1) forms, (2) railroad wheels, (3) lamps, (4) tools, (5) paint supplies, (6) carpentry, and (7) repairs on certain items. These documents proved to be very facilitative since a person desiring services from the Car Shop did not have to fill out a formal request.
