The invoices of the Election Laws Study Committee are the payment of the expense accounts of the committee members. Most of the vouchers are for perdiem and travel expenses.

This series contains the audio tapes generated during various sessions of the Georgia House of Representatives. In most cases the House Calendars can be used as a finding aid for the tapes. The tapes are on 7" reels and have been recorded at 1 7/8 speed. There are no transcriptions.

This series consists of the daily record of proceedings of the Georgia House of Representatives. Kept by the Clerk of the House, the journals have entered into them the appointments and actions of committees, introduction of bills and resolutions, motions, votes, etc. in order of their occurrence. House Journals from 1781 through 1970 (some years missing) are available on microfilm in the Reference Room.

This series contains newsletters which report summaries of the legislative activities of the Georgia House of Representatives for the previous week. Most of the information is related to the status of legislation currently before the House. In referring to this legislation, this publication includes a very brief summary of the provisions of each bill or resolution considered on a particular legislative day.

Series consists of computer punch cards (data and program cards) from the 1963 session of the General Assembly.

This series is composed of photographic prints, negatives, contact sheets, and slides, most of which were taken by the Senate photographer. Some biographical information, news clippings and a very few audio recordings are also included. Photographs show Senators at work in the chamber, Senator portraits, and groups posed with Senators. Also included are images of Joe Frank Harris, Jimmy Carter, Lester Maddox, Zell Miller, Capitol employees, Senate staff, interns and pages.

This series consists of the daily record of proceedings of the Georgia Senate. Unlike bound journals, these records generally consist of unbound oversized legal paper onto which the proceedings have either been typed and/or had other documents attached (generally with staples).

These published booklets contain summaries of almost all the general bills of Statewide application which were enacted by the General Assembly at each and every session. The act number of each is indicated as is its page citation in the published law books. The analysis (changed to Summary in the titles in 1969) consists of a short summary of the subject of the act and should not be construed as constituting an opinion on the act's constitutionality.

This series consists of the plans adopted by the Georgia General Assembly for drawing the geographic boundaries of each election district. They are related to the decennial reapportionment of state senate and house and U.S. congressional districts. Included are the final legal descriptions, geographic maps and population statistics for each district.

This series consists of records created in establishing the geographical boundaries of each Georgia congressional, house and senate election district after each decennial census. Included are conference committee reports; draft plans; maps; census population statistics; legal descriptions for proposed districts; and other documents used in developing redistricting proposals to submit to the legislature for approval.
