This series contains documents relating to federally funded projects withdrawn, refused or completed by the Appalachian Regional Commission during the time periods indicated. Included are packets containing feasibility studies, project narratives and supporting papers, progress reports, final reports and some audits. The emphasis is definitely on the fiscal aspect of these projects.

There are two types of projects. First are those which receive supplemental federal funds only and secondly, those involving research, demonstration and technical assistance which are fully funded by the federal government.
