Nathan Louis Hutchins incoming letters
Letters to Hutchins from various Georgia and southeastern places concerning legal matters, mainly debt collection. A few of the letters appear to be addressed to other family members. The second folder holds lists of slaves owned by different families and also letters that appear to be related to Hutchins' work.
Nathaniel Raines Mitchell family papers
This collection of the Mitchell family of Thomas County, Georgia, family papers includes the Mitchell letters, plantation accounts, and the business records of cotton and tobacco selling and shipping. Most correspondence is to Nathaniel Mitchell from his children and their spouses.
Nathaniel Sadler Walker physician's visiting book
This printed volume, created for 1852, was intended for the use of doctors visiting patients, with spaces for numbers of visits, complaints, treatments, fees, etc. It seems to have been used during the Civil War when Captain Walker served as assistant surgeon with the 44th Regiment GA Vols. The pages are filled with lists of sick call, wounded and dead, and furloughs granted. No dates or places are specified.

Naval Stores Records
This collection includes Gum Processors Association Records, American Turpentine Farmers Association Records, and correspondence, speeches, drawings, photograhs, and publications related to the Newton Naval Stores, Columbia Naval Stores, the Glidden Company, and the R.D. Cole Manufacturing Company. Drawn from three separate accessions, these papers document the economic, scientific, and social aspects of the naval stores area.

Noble John Brooks Civil War letters and diary
The letters were written to his parents and cover 1862 - 1864. The diary runs from March - September 1864. Both give detailed accounts of daily life from the soldier's point of view. The longest letter, July 4, 1862, describes the Battle of Cold Harbor.

Noel Burton Knight journal
The journal was kept during Reconstruction by this highly educated judge who commented on politics, local to international; reading; travels through north Georgia to various county seats; and the seasons and weather. Although he eschewed the personal, he made many comments about individuals, including aspiring African-American politicians, such as Ulysses L. Houston (pp. 232-233). Also included are 158 pages of Marietta shop accounts (1848-1849).
North Georgia Agricultural College unofficial records
Mostly the original records, including minutes, treasuer's account books, and critic's reports books, of the Decora Palaestra Literary Society at the college from around the turn of the century. Some modern material.
Northside Drive Baptist Church "Operation Touch 1972" records
Records include "The Pinnacle" church bulletins, newspaper clippings, a report that includes plans for the "Operation Touch" clinic, a press release, a clinic schedule, dental information, and statistics of the results, which included screening exams and doctor visits. There are also three colored photographs of Rosalyn Carter, who was chairwoman of the project and officially opened the clinic.
Ocklocknee Grange # 228 treasury book
Record of receipts and disbursements of the Ocklocknee (also spelled Okloknee, Oklonee, Ochlochnee, etc.) Grange, 1873 - 1881, kept by William J. Dickey, treasurer. Records of payments of initiation fees give the names of some of the members. Pages 28 - 35 are a record of receipts and disbursements of Bethpage Sunday School, 1881 - 1902, for which Dickey was also treasurer.
