Park/Smith memoir typescript
Description of the Frances B. Forrest and William Smith household kitchen in 1877 (the year of Frances' death), recollected later by Smith's grandchild, possibly a daughter of Ann Elizabeth Smith and James A. Park. An unusually detailed account of life on an 1870s farm with both white and African American workers in the Peavine Creek area of Catoosa County, Georgia.

Phineas Miller memorandum for a description of Cumberland
Written to Edward Rutledge on November 29, concerning Cumberland Island land owned by Mrs. Greene, the widow of General Nathaniel Greene. After Mrs. Greene lost Mulberry Plantation, she and Miller moved to her property on Cumberland.

Pike County [Georgia], Enslaved Persons Bills of Sale
This collection contains three bills of sale for enslaved persons purchased and sold by Samuel Mitchell of Pike County, Georgia.
Pine Hill School register
Record of Mrs. C. O. Turner's several classes of fourth and fifth grade students for a year. The register lists names, ages, class grade, attendance records, monthly grades for various subjects, and some personal notes. At the end of each class is a yearly summary.

Pledger Bolton and Trudie V. Boone Jones papers
Papers include a newsclipping about Pledger Bolton "P. B." Jones; 1909 school themes by his wife, Trudie B. Jones; musical scores and lyrics written by P. B.. Also included are a 1945 aircraft certificate and a letter of condolence from Senator Talmadge to the family on Pledger's death in 1961.

This collection includes Girls' High School commencement records, 1881; newspaper articles; compositions; and an 1873 pencil sketch by Ella Powell. Also contains Dr. Powell's certificates; a reprint of his address to the Eclectic Medical Society that includes a poem, "The Old Slave's Lament;" and photostats of family Bible records.

The summation of the 1967 Report of Sanitary Conditions was taken from an earlier inventory created in 1981.

The majority of the file consists of daily menus for all institutions in Georgia which are detailed from snacks to main courses. The lunch menus are for offenders in the prison only and do not cover those on road crews, etc.
